Scoring

Time spent in Zone 2

The aim of this challenge is simple: accumulate as much time in Zone 2 as possible within up to 2 hours of running.

You can achieve the running time in one single run or split it up across multiple separate activities throughout the week.

The maximum amount of running accepted for submission is 2 hours.

You must submit, and will be scored for, the amount of time spent in your zone 2 across your activities.

Session swap

steady aerobic run

Swap your usual easy aerobic training for the Aerobic Engine challenge. Build your aerobic base, improve endurance and develop the engine that supports your harder sessions.

Evidencing

GPS Fitness Tracker: Time Spent in Zone 2

When submitting, only enter the time spent in Zone 2, not the total time of the run. This data can usually be found in most fitness tracker apps’ desktop applications.

To evidence the challenge, you must submit a screenshot of each activity’s zone data.

It is preferred that you use a heart rate fitness tracker to take part in this challenge. However, if your tracker does not support heart rate, you can use the Pace Zone data.

Scoring

You are scored on the total time it takes to complete the 4 rounds, minus the rest time.

Bad weather
